We believe that sustainable and responsibly grown food tastes better. Our kitchen uses the freshest local and regional produce, celebrating the very best of Yorkshire.
In time, we’ll use the farms and walled garden at Denton Reserve to grow more produce directly – realising our ambition of turning food miles into food metres.

Above the inn we have crafted five restful, screen-free bedrooms. With a contemporary feel and considered quality, each is furnished by independent makers and purpose-led companies that value sustainability.

The Penny Bun is part of Denton Reserve – a purpose-led project combatting climate change through carbon capture, improving biodiversity and sustainable food production.
In time, our guests will be able to explore all 2,500 acres, enjoying nature and wellbeing-inspired activities and getting up close to projects like agroforestry and rewilding.
