Take a hike
Venture south for a gentle 30-minute circular walk to the River Wharfe. Head north for more invigorating hikes at Askwith Moor. There’s a bunch of routes and spectacular Ilkley views to be found – just grab a map from the team.
Hit the town(s)
The local towns of Ilkley, Otley and Harrogate are well worth a visit. Historic architecture and thriving independent shops are just the start. With heaps of alluring riverside and parkland strolls and the famous steam baths, there’s almost too much choice.
Meet the Dales
With over a thousand square miles of moors, valleys and hills, the Yorkshire Dales are mesmerising. Whether you’re capturing the sights on camera or canvas, or roving around on foot or by bike, there’s nothing like a dose of fresh Yorkshire air in your lungs.
